- Classroom Activity: Acanthocephalan Parasite Investigation (pdf 237KB)
- In this optional in-class extension to sandy beach monitoring, students investigate the presence of a parasitic worm (Phlyum Acanthocephala). A fishing permit or scientific collecting permit is needed to conduct this activity.
