Directions:
RAT (Redondo and Torrence) Beach is located just south of the town of Redondo Beach. Driving south, take Sepulveda (Highway 1) all the way through Redondo Beach. Turn right on Avenue H (after Ave. G, F, etc.), and left at the end. There is plenty of parking though it can be crowded on the weekend.
Restrooms:
There are new public restrooms.
Site description:
Formerly the site of the Hollywood Riviera Beach Club, RAT Beach is a popular spot for families, surfers, and beachgoers. There is a dog park, swing sets, and snack bar.
Permit and visitor information:
No permit is required for monitoring.
