Refugio State Beach is located in the town of Goleta, 20 miles west of Santa Barbara on Highway 101 at Refugio Road. The entry fee for daily use is $8 per vehicle. A paved road leads to ample parking just behind the palm-lined beach.

Site description:
This crescent-shaped beach is one mile long and lined by palms. A mountain-fed creek drains into the Pacific from the Santa Ynez mountains to the north.
